What’s with all the $7 Pricing?

What is it today with all the gugus (if you haven’t read my previous posts that’s how I refer to the “Gurus”) and their $7 pricing. I don’t mean they’re selling stuff for Seven dollars, God forbid they could sell an ebook which is produced ONCE and sold thousands of times for 7 bux.
No I’m talking about every product I see is either $27, $37, $47, $97…..you get the idea. What’s with the “7″. Does it have some mysterious “UnderGround Marketing” code involved with it. What’s the matter with $29.95, or $99.95?
Do the gugus think people are SO monumentally stupid that they’ll be swayed by a price that is two dollars less?
And why $7?…….. Why not $6, are they prejudice against even numbers?
Its just so ridiculous to me. I mean in the brick and mortar world, you know Macy’s, Walmart, Target etc. the $9 ending has worked for decades…….what, this is the gugus’ way of being different.
I don’t know, its just very weird to me……….had to get that off my chest!!
