Web Hosting Deals Page …………..Why?
Posted on December 27th, 2008 in Affiliate Marketing, Internet Marketing, MME 'How To' Essays, Web Hosting
Hey guys,
You might notice that I just put up a page title “Web Hosting with a Refund”
You should give a minute and check it out. The two companies I suggest are Hostgator
and Webhostingpad
.
OK, so why am I promoting them?
Well first of all, I make money if you sign up through my link, I mean that’s what we’re all trying to do here isn’t it?…………..Make Money Online?
You don’t pay anymore than you would if you went directly to their sites, they simply use affiliate programs as a way of getting extra business.
Second, as I said in a previous post WebHosting is one of the niches I am established in. So it’s a good technique to “cross-promote” one niches products to another. Especially since this niche, the “make money online” niche is both new to me and extremely competitive.
By the way, all hosting companies pay the same commission, within a 10% variation range, so commission was not a factor. I’m looking for monthly volume.
That being the case, the fact is, I would not have begun to promote them had I not thought they offered true value to my readers.
Believe it or not it took quite a bit of time to research what they offer in terms of disk space, bandwidth, tools, like cPanel and one click WordPress Install and more.
I looked at many of my affiliate hosting companies but could not find the right mix of services offered, easy of use, and price, for this target audience.
Which should be, if I did my research correctly, is composed mostly of people who are just starting to get serious about making money online .
What did differentiate Hostgator and WebhostingPad was their 45 day and 30day, respectively, 100% Refund Periods.
I found affiliate clients that offered the same value and services, but not the refund.
So that’s why i picked these two to start a page with.
…..and they, Hostgator and Webhostingpad , had the right mix AND Refund Policies.
It’s doesn’t always have to be about “just the money”………. good businesses last because they offers their customer(readers) a good value, regardless of what the they are going to make in commission.
It’s up to me to do the work to provide the right solutions, to the right audience. If people have a need for the solutions I offer, I’ll make money.
If I didn’t do my homework right regarding the target audience or the solutions themselves, then its on me if I don’t make money.
You can never get mad at your customer/readers for not buying your product. If they are not buying its your fault, the blogger, affiliate marketer, not your customer’s.
Peace
