“Coming Soon” Place Holder Page Gets a PR1 From Google
That’s right, you read it correctly, and it shows the awesome power of backlinks and expert backlinking. I’m not talking about reciprocal linking, I’m talking about one way links.
If you have a Google Toolbar installed in your browser you can see any site’s PR rank.
Check the “Coming Soon” page out now while you still can, here, its not going to be up long. The real homepage should be up in a day or two.
How do I know? Well, because its my site, and my partner and I will be launching it, our first launch of 2009, in the next couple of days.
Can you guess what service we’re going to be offering?………That’s right!!….SEO services, Search Engine Optimization! This was the launch I mentioned before, when I said everyone that signs up for my NewsLetter will automatically become an affiliate for the products we are offering once we start our affiliate program.
Now you might be saying “How does a 30 day old site with 1 page, that only has the words “Coming Soon” on it, get any PageRank at all, let alone a PR1?”
Well, I can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, but lets just say the URL has a whole lot of quality one way backlinks to it. So many in fact, that Google’s algorithms didn’t care that the site had 1 public page with only two words on it.
Believe me when I say, this is going to revolutionize the SEO industry.

Unfortunately it’s not a great screen shot but if you zoom your browser in to 200% or 400% you’ll be able to see the small PR bar on the top tool bar, just above and to the left a bit of the “C” in “Coming Soon!” of the picture.

I checked out your site, very cool stuff, believe it or not I’m still not an iPhone owner, but both my kids are, including the 11 year old!!!……spoiled!!!
