Make Money Online: Quick note on “Arbitrage Conspiracy”
Posted on January 14th, 2009 in CPL/CPA Marketing, General
I was speaking to my affil iate manager at one of the bigger CPA networks (I’m not naming it, ok) and publish for and I brought up the “Arbitrage Conspiracy” product. His response was what I suspected I would hear but was hoping I wouldn’t.
Apparently, all through the end of December 08 and there was a flurry of activity at this particular network with “Arbitrageurs” signing up to be new affiliates. Everybody was really pumped and excited to get started, my rep said.
However, in the last two weeks, the excitement of making tons of money seems to be turning into a different reality. According to what I was told, many of the new “Arbitrageurs” affiliates are starting to lose some enthusiasm. I had also heard that the second module of the course did not go live when it was supposed to. The “Arbitrageurs” are still hanging in there though. The course still has many weeks to go.
But one thing that stuck in my mind was, I was told that these newbies are being taught that Google will allow you to direct link. This is absolutely false. Anyone who has ever spent any money on Adwords for affiliate marketing knows this. I hope I didn’t hear right. I hope I mistakenly heard the entire conversation wrong.
But if I didn’t, there might be a lot of $2000 poorer pissed off people out there in a month or two.
Peace

(Um, you can direct link a CPA offer from Google as long as your display URL matches the destination URL. It is just not ideal because of the quality score) they are also being taught to create iframes and then landing pages and then sites for quality score reasons.
The first stage is only about getting the feet wet and finding some offers that can be scaled.

Thanks for the comment James.
I personally have had quite a bit of trouble with Google and the whole Display destination thing. That’s why all my direct linking cpa campaigns are on Yahoo and MSN
Did you buy the Arbitrage Conspiracy product?
If so I would love to hear about from the standpoint of someone who actually is taking the course!!
Do you have previous experience in cpa marketing?
Lets keep in touch
Thanks Again

I purchased some books and cds on internet marketing and implemented the techniques in a couple of my websites. However I somewhat feel that I?m making some mistakes somewhere that is harming my traffic
