Why You Should Have More Than One Hosting Account

Posted on December 16th, 2009 in SEO, Web Hosting , , ,

A friend of mine sent me an email about three months ago, bitching that he can’t get his sites ranking better, an he has a nice amount of over 10. He does all the seo stuff he should , drips content, keyword rich content, but he can’t bust the top 10 for his niches, and for a few not even the top 20.

Now lets face it, if SEM is your method of driving traffic and getting sales, you need to be on page 1 of Google.

There difference between page 1 and 2 is much deeper than just one level.

His linking strategy was the problem. He was linking his sites together, thinking he give himself some free backlinks.

You see, if all of your links come from web sites that are hosted in the same place, on the same IP address more specifically, (ie. if they are all on your one shared hosting account), Google will ignore the links.

Because Google understand the links are not natural. So what to do?

Have a few different hosting accounts. I have five actually, but at even $10/mth per account its still a reasonably cheap $50 a month.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you buy Proxy Privacy for each domain you have, it should be under $10. If you don’t do this google can connect you to your sites the a Whois search.

…also make sure all your links are one way. Don’t start interlinking with reciprocal linking, it will defeat the purpose.

So if you can afford it and you’re serious about making it online, do open more than 1 or even 2 hosting accounts. Believe me it’ll be worth the few extra $$$ each month in the long haul.

Just my opinion, based on what I have been taught and what I do.

US Government Debt Exceeds “WORLD” GDP

Posted on April 15th, 2009 in General, SEO , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Talk about trimming fat…….US Obligations larger than the combined GDP of every country on Earth!!

That’s a pleasant thought now isn’t it. This post has nothing directly to do with internet marketing, but everything to do with the Value of Money.

If the US yearly deficits were calculated using the same accounting standards that publicly traded companies are required to use, companies like Citbank, GM, AIG, Bank of America, WaMu, Bear Stearns…….you get the idea, the Government would have reported a deficit last year not of $455 Billion, but $5.1 TRILLION.

In fact, if you took all current outstanding obligations, including Medicare and Social Security, the Feds would be in the hole for $65 Trillion, that is more than the “World GDP”

STAGGERING………..

The “Make Money Online” Niche

Posted on February 23rd, 2009 in Internet Marketing, Keyword Tools, New Product Launch, SEO , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

This is probably the toughest niche to break into.? About a month ago, when this site/blog was about 6 weeks old, I posted that I had made a total of approx $450 from this site.? Well its four weeks later and I’m now up to a total of approx $1,100, for about two months work.

Quite frankly, to me, that’s pretty shitty.? So naturally, I’ve been working on new products in different niches with different business models. Why? Because when one project or “business” is not performing up to reasonable expectations you look to new projects. I look at this site as a “business”, I have to, you all should look at your sites or blogs as businesses, that’s what they are. I mean come on, wouldn’t we all prefer to be in Aruba right now, I know I would. But I need to work to pay my bills. Just because I work “online” doesn’t mean it’s any less of a “business”.

Now I have no intention of abandoning this business, I mean this site, I’ve just been spending a little less time on it lately.

To be honest with you, it’s tough to get you guys to buy anything, whether it’s from me or one of my advertisers. I do think that the worse the economy gets the more demand there will be in this niche.

So I will not give up, $1,100 isn’t that bad considering the amount of time I’ve put into the site. I do have other online businesses that take up my time as well.

But this blog may become more of a personal journal of sorts. I may use it as a diary of my all my online business ventures.

We shall see………

By the way, just a heads up to everyone, if you go here tomorrow ( Feb 24th) at noon EST you can get SEO Elite and Keyword Elite for free when you pay a $3 or $4 dollar shipping fee on another product. Brad Callen sent me the email with the link to it.

Brad Callen is Much More Than a “Guru”! Part #1

Posted on January 26th, 2009 in Affiliate Marketing, CPL/CPA Marketing, Internet Marketing, Products Reviewed, SEO, Traffic ,

He’s a genius really, or close to it. Brad is one of the top Internet Marketing “producers”. He produces software that is incredibly useful to internet marketers in any niche. His products are not cheap, until now, but more on that later.

Brad created what I think are the two most useful pieces of software for internet markets and affiliates. If you’re building a wbesite for example, their two products SEO Elite and KeyWord Elite. I have both. Like I said these products were not cheap, they’ were in the $100-$150 range, but they are essential to? insure giving yourself the best chance to succeed making money online.

With SEO Elite, when you build a website or blog, you know from the begginning what you need to do to make them extra SEO Friendly. In a sense, the free organic traffic this software will create for you, pays for the software in saving on PPC campaigns to drive traffic to your site……and thats they key “Organic Traffic”.

SEO Elite also creates more organic traffic for already seo friendly blogs, making them traffic magnets.

Personally I’d use it for two months (There is a 60 Day Refund Guarantee), build a site and a few blogs, and see your traffic increases, if your satisfied you can keep the product. This is really some kick butt SEO software.

Take a look at SEO Elite if your serious about driving traffic to your sites and offers. I actually use it with my CPA campaigns. CPA campaigns based on organic traffic are 100% profit, No PPC Costs!! and the niches are endless!!

You know if the “Arbitage Conspiracy” guys had included lifetime use of this software and still cut their price to $1,000 I might have bought it, as long as they had a refund policy, which I think they do.

SEO Elite drives free traffic to my CPA campaigns, thats probably the best use of it, for me.

Anyway, with the refund guarantee there really is no risk ….

Take a look at SEO Elite Here ……….

PS Next Up Brad’s Keyword Elite, of course its cheaper now than when I bought, just my luck!!

Make Money Online: Always Use Keywords In Page Titles

Posted on January 18th, 2009 in Affiliate Marketing, CPL/CPA Marketing, Email Martketing, Internet Marketing, Keyword Tools, MME 'How To' Essays, PPC, SEO, Traffic , , , , , , ,

It is recommended to use keywords in page titles itself. This title tag is different from a Meta tag, but it’s worth considering it in relation to them. Whatever text one places in the title tag (between the <title> and </title> portions) will appear in the title bar of browsers when they view the web page. Some browsers also append whatever you put in the title tag by adding their own name, as for example Microsoft’s Internet Explorer or OPERA. The actual text you use in the title tag is one of the most important factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web page. In addition, all major web crawlers will use the text of your title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings. If you have designed your website as a series of websites or linked pages and not just a single Home Page, you must bear in mind that each page of your website must be search engine optimized. The title of each page i.e. the keywords you use on that page and the phrases you use in the content will draw traffic to your site. The unique combination of these words and phrases and content will draw customers using different search engine terms and techniques, so be sure you capture all the keywords and phrases you need for each product, service or information page. The most common mistake made by small business owners when they first design their website is to place their business name or firm name in every title of every page. Actually most of your prospective customers do not bother to know the name of your firm until after they have looked at your site and decided it is worth book marking. So, while you want your business name in the title of the home page, it is probably a waste of valuable keywords and space to put it in the title line of every page on your site. Why not consider putting keywords in the title so that your page will display closer to the top of the search engine listing. Dedicating first three positions for keywords in title avoiding the stop words like ‘and’, ‘at’ and the like is crucial in search engine optimization.

Is “Wild SEO” Worth the Money?

Posted on January 18th, 2009 in Adwords, Affiliate Marketing, CPL/CPA Marketing, Email Martketing, General, Internet Marketing, MME 'How To' Essays, New Product Launch, PPC, Products Reviewed, SEO, Things that drive me NUTS!, Traffic, Web Hosting , , , , ,

Wild SEO is the newest membership site to take the net by storm.

Does this mean it is a good product? Not necessarily, but in this case, Wild SEO now.definitely is.

In order to make money online you need traffic to your product or service. Its really just that simple. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. More traffic = More Sales. It’s very easy to understand.

Look, there are 3 ways to get this traffic:

  • Buy It via methods such as PPC
  • Borrow it from methods such as Joint Ventures
  • Build FREE Traffic using search engine optimization (SEO)

Wild SEO is all about building your traffic for free. Does that alone make this membership worth its weight in gold? Absolutely. Anything that is going to help me send traffic to my blogs and websites for free is well worth the measly $49.99 these guys are charging.

Is Wild SEO for you?

Definitely. There is no one who is trying to make money online that won’t benefit from this membership. Unless you are an SEO expert, and I am pretty sure 99% of you aren’t, yet, you will value everything you’ll get from Wild SEO.

One of the great and useful parts of Wild SEO is its interactive forum, providing all members a way to meet and share ideas. While there are a wealth of existing marketing forums available for beginners to learn from, the surrounding content is usually a distraction and takes away from the visitors initial reason for participating. Wild SEO helps members remain focused on SEO and learning how to drive organic search engine traffic to their online efforts.

Is it worth the $49.99? Or to put it another way, is it worth $0.14 per day? Come on!, you’ll pay more for one click on an Adwords Campaign. So is it worth it? Definitely. Check out Wild SEO now.
