US Government Debt Exceeds “WORLD” GDP

Posted on April 15th, 2009 in General, SEO , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Talk about trimming fat…….US Obligations larger than the combined GDP of every country on Earth!!

That’s a pleasant thought now isn’t it. This post has nothing directly to do with internet marketing, but everything to do with the Value of Money.

If the US yearly deficits were calculated using the same accounting standards that publicly traded companies are required to use, companies like Citbank, GM, AIG, Bank of America, WaMu, Bear Stearns…….you get the idea, the Government would have reported a deficit last year not of $455 Billion, but $5.1 TRILLION.

In fact, if you took all current outstanding obligations, including Medicare and Social Security, the Feds would be in the hole for $65 Trillion, that is more than the “World GDP”

STAGGERING………..

An Ebook Writer for $9.97

Posted on February 12th, 2009 in General, Products Reviewed , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Interested in creating any of your own info products to sell on the net?

You’re going to need an ebook writer. The last time I suggested one, it cost over $100.

Well now I found one just for my customers, eWriterPro.

I have been using it myself and it really does the job very well and for only $9.97!!, and you get complete 100% resale rights also, it even comes with its own sales page and thank you/download page, so you can throw it up onto your hosting account and start selling the program itself right away.

Selling info products, especially your own, is a great way to start making money online, but the cost of some of these ebook writers is very large, for example Adobe Acrobat, costs over $500.

You can write about anything you want. There is always someone else who is interested in the same thing you are. Or you can use it to write a small report you can give away as a bonus on your blog or for signing up to your news letter.

Link Cloaking

Posted on January 25th, 2009 in General, Internet Marketing ,

Everybody is talking about affiliate link theft. How supposedly, everybody who doesn’t use a cloaker is getting ripped off. Personally, I don’t believe it all that much. I mean whoever does it would have to have affiliate accounts at all of your networks.

Of course, everybody can get a clickbank ID, and substitute theirs for yours, so they’re buying the product for 25 to 50 percent of the retail price. They are still spending.  Of course, in the internet marketing niche I would assume it happens at a higher rate than other niches, only because we all have clickbank IDs and some, very few, of the products do actually work.  There is much simpler way of doing it though, just get your wife or sibling or anybody to buy it from your link. I mean you can email them link, so how hard can it be?

Now in terms of esthetics, those affiliate links do look crappy. Then again who looks at the bottom left of their browser so much. We are all in the Internet Marketing niche, so we are aware of it. But if you’re talking about an average Joe/Jane looking for hosting or their first domain name or anything else, they aren’t checking out the bottom left of their browser, and if they do, they just think its “computer code”, nor are they offended by long screwy affiliate links.

They don’t care!!

I didn’t care 3 years ago when I didn’t know what anything other than email and surfing were.

Now I never used a cloaker, until now. I figure I’m going to check it out here and on some other blogs I’m building. So I bought one of those WP Affiliate Link Cloaking plugin on ClickBank. Well, quite frankly, it sucked. In fact I’m asking for a refund on Monday. I tried a free software my partner sent me but I decided to just redirect at the server level, a friend of mine set it up, and it doesn’t cost me anything.

I want to see if there is any difference in my clickbank income for the next month or so. Its not that much to begin with, so the results may be slanted just by any increase in traffic this blog gets, if it gets any increase.

I’ll let you know how it turns out

Here a little test. Here a link to a list of Motivational Ebooks, I figure with the economy the way it is  you might want to check them out.

Is “Wild SEO” Worth the Money?

Posted on January 18th, 2009 in Adwords, Affiliate Marketing, CPL/CPA Marketing, Email Martketing, General, Internet Marketing, MME 'How To' Essays, New Product Launch, PPC, Products Reviewed, SEO, Things that drive me NUTS!, Traffic, Web Hosting , , , , ,

Wild SEO is the newest membership site to take the net by storm.

Does this mean it is a good product? Not necessarily, but in this case, Wild SEO now.definitely is.

In order to make money online you need traffic to your product or service. Its really just that simple. I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. More traffic = More Sales. It’s very easy to understand.

Look, there are 3 ways to get this traffic:

  • Buy It via methods such as PPC
  • Borrow it from methods such as Joint Ventures
  • Build FREE Traffic using search engine optimization (SEO)

Wild SEO is all about building your traffic for free. Does that alone make this membership worth its weight in gold? Absolutely. Anything that is going to help me send traffic to my blogs and websites for free is well worth the measly $49.99 these guys are charging.

Is Wild SEO for you?

Definitely. There is no one who is trying to make money online that won’t benefit from this membership. Unless you are an SEO expert, and I am pretty sure 99% of you aren’t, yet, you will value everything you’ll get from Wild SEO.

One of the great and useful parts of Wild SEO is its interactive forum, providing all members a way to meet and share ideas. While there are a wealth of existing marketing forums available for beginners to learn from, the surrounding content is usually a distraction and takes away from the visitors initial reason for participating. Wild SEO helps members remain focused on SEO and learning how to drive organic search engine traffic to their online efforts.

Is it worth the $49.99? Or to put it another way, is it worth $0.14 per day? Come on!, you’ll pay more for one click on an Adwords Campaign. So is it worth it? Definitely. Check out Wild SEO now.

Make Money Online: Quick note on “Arbitrage Conspiracy”

Posted on January 14th, 2009 in CPL/CPA Marketing, General ,

I was speaking to my affil iate manager at one of the bigger CPA networks (I’m not naming it, ok) and publish for and I brought up the “Arbitrage Conspiracy” product. His response was what I suspected I would hear but was hoping I wouldn’t.

Apparently, all through the end of December 08 and there was a flurry of activity at this particular network with “Arbitrageurs” signing up to be new affiliates. Everybody was really pumped and excited to get started, my rep said.

However, in the last two weeks, the excitement of making tons of money seems to be turning into a different reality. According to what I was told, many of the new “Arbitrageurs” affiliates are starting to lose some enthusiasm. I had also heard that the second module of the course did not go live when it was supposed to. The “Arbitrageurs” are still hanging in there though. The course still has many weeks to go.

But one thing that stuck in my mind was, I was told that these newbies are being taught that Google will allow you to direct link. This is absolutely false. Anyone who has ever spent any money on Adwords for affiliate marketing knows this. I hope I didn’t hear right. I hope I mistakenly heard the entire conversation wrong.

But if I didn’t, there might be a lot of $2000 poorer pissed off people out there in a month or two.

Peace
